Snatch: Few Reps at 13.1 Open Weights

MetCon – 13.1:
40 Burpees
30 Snatches (75/45lbs)
30 Burpees
30 Snatches (135/75lbs)
20 Burpees
30 Snatches (165/100lbs)
10 Burpees
AMRAP Snatches (210/120lbs)

I saw some insanely amazing performances today on 13.1. Can we chalk it up to everyone’s mental toughness, our awesome coaching tips, or the fantastic atmosphere and camaraderie in the gym? I’d probably say it’s more of the first and last, and not so much the middle answer. Some of my favorite times occur during the Open when people dig down deep and suffer for one more rep or set PRs during a MetCon. I’m pretty sure that is not supposed to happen, and yet, it does!

Remember tomorrow we have a limited time for Open workouts to be done. I will be there at 8AM and hopefully starting my MC about 8:30. If you need to do the workout we need to start no later than 9:30 so make sure you are there with plenty of time to mobilize and warm-up!  Our normal Free class will go on at 10AM so if you are looking for another sweat session then count on us.
