TN/MS/AL Sectionals on March 6th and 7th
Warm-up: CFWUx2, 20 Hanging Leg Raises
Deadlift: 1RM
MetCon – For Time:
21-15-9
Dips
Mountain Climbers
I just want to reiterate a few points with tonight’s blog post.
1) We are going to be closed Friday and Saturday, March 5th and 6th, due to the CrossFit Games Sectionals competition in Huntsville, Alabama.
2) We are trying to gage interest on date and time for the Olympic lifting seminar. How does a Saturday late morning rub you (probably open gym time like 11AM-1PM)? The 20th or 27th of March seem likely candidates. I am probably alone on this idea, but I’d say Dead End BBQ afterward for some lunch would be borderline fun. You will each set snatch and C&J personal records and then reward yourself with brisket and ribs.
3) The efforts this week have been nothing short of epic. Keep that momentum through tomorrow. The MetCon is so good I am thinking about erasing it after every class and writing back up anew for the next one.
Tomorrow may be the first time you’ll cry DURING a MetCon,
Coach G

Due to the high level of organization, I feel the need to respond similarly:
1) Sectionals are going to be epic. If I wasn’t opting for an early spring break trip to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early, I would definitely be there.
2)Olympic lifting and Dead End BBQ after? Why not Olympic lifting WHILE eating Dead End BBQ? Think about it.
3)I think Arnold has the right idea…listen to his words and be enlightened

I will stick to the organizational theme as well.
1) I’ll be in Huntsville for rugby March 6th and would like to stay to spectate/cheer for Ktowners on March 7th at sectionals. Anyone want a roomie for Saturday night? Let me know.
2)March 13th or April 3rd,10th,17th,and so on, rubs me better for the Olympic lifting seminar. Dead End BBQ is good anytime.
3) I’ll be in for paleo challenge food journal review and some light stretching. Also to watch people cry during the metcon.
4) Everyone should come out for the Rise Up try scoring and spinmove seminar tomorrow at Possum Park. KRFC vs Nooga, kick-off is at 1pm sharp. Free food and beer after match. Visit http://www.knoxvillerugby.com for more details.

allow me to ruin the organization. oly seminar is good no matter when it is. i was thinking i would eat dead end before and after the seminar. james, good luck in the match on sat….im going to try and get over there for some of that.
James:
We have two rooms at the Holiday Inn in downtown Huntsville for Fri/Sat night. We’re all sharing those two rooms. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say you are absolutely welcome to bring an air bed or something and sleep wherever you like.
Also, what if we load our barbells with meat from Dead End BBQ, lift it, THEN eat it?
We have two rooms for 6 people, so there is plenty of room for Rise Up. Also, Brandon, you never speak for me.
