Warm-Up: AMRAP in 4 minutes of:
10 one-armed KB swings (35/20lbs)
10 walking lunges
10 push ups
-While the rest of the world is trying to think of their New Year’s resolutions for 2010, CrossFit Ktown is knocking out their goals for 2009 that were just set a couple of months ago! I watched 14 PR’s in 1RM Jerks go up today, and 2 specific year-end goals were met. Surekha and Erin both reached their goals in rowing, and did it with style might I add. Those of you who finished up those goals in the past few weeks, we still have a whole month of the year left, so let’s make it count. If you had a huge goal that you had to put a lot of time and effort into, make a smaller goal for the end of December. Max time L-Sit, 30 Double Unders in less than a minute, or even to foam roll and take your fish oil more often are all smaller goals that we can set for ourselves. Something I’ve been working on; I’m on day six of strict paleo and I’ve dropped 8 pounds, and I’ve PR’d my squat and press in the past two days.
