Accidents happen. They just seem to happen more to CBo than most people. Today while in the gym he may have split his bicep arm region open. Here’s the good news, CBo is so precise from all his CrossFitting he managed to only slice his arm open, miss all veins, and not cut into muscle. Coach CBo spent a good majority of his day in the ER getting stitched up. Kirsterminator, who was already working in the building, said he was very lucky to have missed everything important.
More good news on this bad situation, he will still be fine for Regionals since it is more or less an ugly flesh wound! Yes it is unfortunate and will “cut” into his training (see what I did there), but there are always variations and movements you can do with any injury. While CBo was sitting in the hospital bleeding he was already thinking of what he could do until his stitches came out. But be nice and don’t ask him to demonstrate something crazy for you like a muscle-up to ring handstand push-up. He’s been known to do those.
On a happier note, Coach E$ had her little baby girl today, Teigan Elizabeth Slocum! Both of the ladies are doing well. Tomorrow we will make a proper post on it!
