Atención! Class Schedule Change…

First thing first, we are changing our afternoon/evening class start times beginning this Monday.  All afternoon/evening classes will now start on the half hour beginning with 3:30PM and ending with 6:30PM.  And no, we didn’t just randomly throw this upon you.  The vote’s been up all week and it ended up 16 to 1 in favor.  And honestly, I put that single “Nay” up in the beginning to let people know it’s ok to say no.  So much for that idea…

Warm-up: Burgener Warm-up

Hang Clean: 3-3-3 (work that drop under)

MetCon – ½ Barbara:
5 Rounds for time
10 Pull-ups
15 Push-ups
20 Sit-ups
25 Air Squats
Rest 1:30 between rounds

    I love that quote by Ben. Thumbs up. That is definitely going to be a CrossFit Ktown shirt one of these days. I think the rest between rounds made it easier rather than harder. It helped me go at a harder intensity for the next round.

    The rest made it way harder IMO.

    I felt like I absolutely had to do everything unbroken, since there was rest between rounds. I may have been able to pace myself more if I knew there was no rest and it was straight through~

    Rest or no rest . . . it didn’t matter. Your butt still burned when it was over. :o)

    I agree with Larry, my crack callus was on FIRE! I was really stoked that I did all pull-ups RX’d and unbroken… Hope everyone had a great weekend and I’ll see you this afternoon. Holla!

    I think the rest made the workout…..different. Only two months in and I still find that on the longer Metcons rest shows up on it’s own. Towards the end it was welcomed, but during the rest period there is this feeling of anxiety because we have been telling ourselves to Go, Go, Go! I am sure the opinion of mandatory rest will change once Barbara brings her better half :)
