Competing

Noel in last year's Garage Games competition!

Warm-up: Group Mobility

Skill: Turkish Get-Up (10 minutes)

Strict Pull-Ups: 5 Max Sets

MetCon – 4 Rounds for Time:
20 KB Swings (50/35lbs)
20 Box Step-Ups (24/18”)

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we do have our open gym and free Saturday class tomorrow. I’ve had a few of you asking if we are open. Now I know Coach G is off sailing and we will miss him, but I think CBo and I can handle the Saturday class by ourselves.

I want to capture everyone’s attention briefly and say that Garage Games is nearing! Are you interested in competing? This competition is NOT the CrossFit Games or even CrossFit HQ sanctioned. It’s just a really fun event in February put on by a Georgia CrossFit box. Every year it gets better and I would highly encourage anyone and everyone to compete. They have different competing categories (open or intermediate) which is one of the reasons this comp is so much fun. If you are intrigued talk to us and we will get you on the training path for a competition.

Ladies Love Garage Games,
<3 Coach Miss J

I’ve never been much of a competitor but this is intriguing. Maybe what I need to get my butt back in gear. Something to work towards…

Can I just say that today’s WOD sucked? There. I feel better.

Dude, I am warming up my Grant Scalf signature edition book club yellow tablet with piercing questions and provocative observations. “Discuss!”

Would love to compete/attend but, I will be in Hawaii getting hitched. I will do a WOD at Crossfit Big Island in honor of the Garage Games. Aloha!
