We have had a lot of questions regarding SUMMER OF SQUATS. If you are wanting to participate (aka get your squat numbers up) then my best response is to go back to last week and yesterday’s post and read them. Then if you still have questions come to us.

Next, I have some congratulations on the way to a few of our members! This past weekend we had a lot of events going on. First and foremost let me say a massive thank you and good job to all Ktowners who built a house this weekend! We have heard nothing but fantastic remarks about how amazing you all were and what a wonderful job was done. Way to give back for Habitat for Humanity!

A big congratulations goes out to all those who participated in the Dragon Boat Race. MacKenzie, Caleb and Katie Gregory, Josh, and Matt helped their team take 5th place out of 60 teams. Be ready Knoxville, next year a CrossFit Ktown boat is going to be full of athletes and take 1st.

And finally, hip hip hooray to Samantha, Cat, Baby Sam, Heather, and Cody who competed as “Not So Jacked and Tan,” “Jacked, Tan, and Tall,” and “Iron Beard” for Ktown. They represented amazingly as Samantha and Cat placed 2nd, Heather and Baby Sam placed 3rd, and Cody and Baker placed 2nd in the scaled men’s division. Not too shabby ladies and gents!

If you see any of our do-gooders or competitors give them a pat on the back and tell them how proud you are! I know I am!

Wait, are you saying their boat had non-athletes or a weak link this year?
