Just planting a seed here: Rock climbing trip to Little Rock City in Chattanooga…

We would be doing some bouldering, no top rope or sport climbing.  Between CBo, Miss J, some of our friends, and myself we have plenty of extra equipment.  Several of our current members have been down before and fell in love with it.  I’m sure they can ring in here with their experience.

So we need to do this before it gets too warm.  We will choose a Saturday and make a day trip of it.  So keep an ear to the ground for details on the weekend.

I’m in. My lithe body type is perfectly designed for propelling itself up vertical or near vertical surfaces in the name of recreation. But let’s climb some big rocks! I’m psyched!

It all depends on the thumb. I’m definitely down for going to spectate and if there is some hiking involved… After rugby season is over a few of us ruggers will be trail running at Haw Ridge one afternoon a week. I’ll keep everyone informed if interested. Holla!

I either would be interested or, if I can’t because of my back/otherwise, I have a nice pair of shoes + a chalk bag I can lend to someone.

Why would you go all the way to Chatt to climb? Obed and Big South Fork are in your back yard. And now that you have a Ranger in the cult, he can show you secret climbing spots.
