-What a wonderful day at CrossFit Ktown! The CrossFit total is used as the litmus test for strength measuring amongst the CrossFit community, and our athletes proved their worth today. With two of our athletes topping a 1,000 lb. total and the ladies pulling in some unreal numbers, the strength bias cycle has obviously paid off! So congratulations to everyone who killed themselves these past seven weeks, pat yourselves on the back, and take tomorrow off if you totaled today! Enjoy some wonderful pictures from today!

    As awesome as it was to see everyone improve on their numbers, (because I basically just didn’t leave the gym yesterday) my inspirations came from Forrest and Dani. Forrest deadlifted 425 with a previous max of 315 lbs. That is seriously insane, a 110 lb jump! Big D-murder (Dani) deadlifted 150 with a previous max of 65 lbs and finished it off with a scream at the top, then a happy dance afterwards. So pats on the back go out to you two. Thanks for helping me get my PR’s from your amazing ones!

    Everyone put up some great numbers yesterday. This is my first Crossfit total so I can’t wait till it comes back around. I know my strength has definitely increased the 3 weeks I have been there. Forrest, 110lbs jump? Thats insane, great job! See you guys on Wed. Holla!

    Haha, yes Benny my big toe is sticking out! I put on my old soccer socks and then realized they had a big hole in them. Oh well, I just needed my shins covered up (not my toes) because I have a habit of leaving my “DNA on the bar.” I totally attribute my PR to the hole in my sock and the ribbon in my hair. :-D
