If you didn’t already know Coach G is in Alaska. That’s why you haven’t seen his ugly mug at Ktown recently. Right now he is “dark.” Dark, as in he is on a glacier/ mountain and has zero contact with the outside world. It’s just him, Blake Gibson, Chris Smith with a lot of cold, snow, and ice. Hopefully they haven’t walked into a crevasse yet and are actually having good weather for the hopeful summit of Mount Hunter. I should have more information on their success/failure on Friday or Saturday of this week.
Now I’m not telling you to go summit a dangerous mountain with nasty weather conditions where you may not return from, but I am telling you to go outside and do something. It’s been gorgeous recently and CrossFit does not have to be your only exercise activity. Talk to Katy Kalian, she can give you a million ideas of what to do. Go for a bike ride, hike House Mountain (E$), or go for a swim! If you refuse to be “outdoorsy” then go work on your mobility in a yoga class. Dani can help you out with which one in Knoxville would be the best for that option.
