Warm-up: 20 Leg Swings (all directions), Hip Opener (2 minutes each)

Squat: 3-3-3-1-1-1

Deadlift: 5RM

MetCon – For Reps:
2 Rounds – 1 minute at each station (no rest between rounds)
Clean and Jerks (95/65lbs)
Sandbag Squats (120/60lbs)
Handstand Push-Ups

We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

As the pages of the New Year turn let us remember that each day of training is but a small, thin page in the great tome of fitness.  We don’t want you to write some F. Scott Fitzgerald novella, instead we want you to pen a giant, multi-volume work in the likes of Leo Tolstoy.  You don’t need to get caught up in the day-to-day training – keep a mind on the big picture.

    I guess Nietzsche strove to be laconic, or “as a Lakedaimoniean”. :-/ As I shared with C-Bo and Grant, my oldest son expects me to go on a backpacking trip with him and his as-yet-unconceived son in about 18 years. CFKT damn sure better be writing pages in our book of fitness for at least that long. Ireckon I’ll have a journal or two filled in by then.

    Thanks to the great staff who challenge, encourage, nag and inspire us.
