3 Minute AMRAP – Squat Clean Thrusters (135/95lbs)
Wow. That’s the main word that comes to mind watching you all do my workout today. The word “suck” also comes to mind when thinking about those super man-makers. Every year when I’m doing those terrible creatures I think, “Man…why did I program these?” Yet, they are so appropriate for Death Days I just can’t help and leave them out. Either that or I forget how terrible they are year after year. It only takes a couple to remind me.
Let’s get back to “Wow.” I witnessed every class truly show grit for those last few reps when the brain was definitely saying “NO WAY, NO MORE!” I saw so many of you cheer on your partners (thank you for that). And who knew so many of you could do handstand shoulder touches…in tutus?!!?
You guys have survived thus far and there’s only ONE MORE DAY! Coach G’s workout will hold something certainly different I’m personally excited to see. I’m going to try and even get out of class early. Once Death Days is over (*tear) we will celebrate our CrossFit deaths by going to Tin Roof West, aka the Northshore location, at 8pm. Dress nice, or don’t, come in your workout clothes, or don’t. We just want to have a great turnout.
