Bob Seyer (born 8/17/1959) has been a member at CFKT for 7 years. When he joined the gym his doctor told him he was highly insulin resistant and would soon be type II diabetic if he did not make a change. After 2 years of dedicated diet and fitness work Bob put his A1c in the low end of normal range, dropped his triglycerides from 270 to 45mg/dl, and raised his HDL cholesterol from 20 to over 90mg/dl.
Bob is moving to Chattanooga to be closer to kids and grandkids. He has been an integral part of Ktown for most of its life. We wish him well and hope he joins us for the occasional gym hike in the future. You will be missed, Bob!
