Recipes Galore

I love this picture.

Warm-up: Burgener w/u, 10 Dislocates, Pec Stretch

Snatch: 8 Singles @ 70%

MetCon – Not For Time:
1K Row

Finisher: Work on Goats

(For everyone who missed yesterday the warm-up and workout is that of 5/12/10.)

I am super sorry about not posting a Paleo recipe last night. I don’t know where my head was at. I was probably still thinking about McGhee which is what you all are thinking about now, I’m sure. Please foam roll, tennis ball roll, golf ball roll, tootsie roll, or some kind of roll tonight (exclude bread roll). Also, a contrast shower would be a smart idea.

This recipe looks so yummy,
<3 Coach Miss J

Sauerkraut & Sausage

Ingredients:
Sauerkraut
Beef sausage, the good stuff without gluten please
Beef stock, not too much
Black pepper & sweet red pepper flakes
Optional: some heavy cream

In a deep pan brown the sausage and let them cook for 10 minutes or so. Then add your sauerkraut, stir for a minute, and add the stock. Turn down the heat and add the peppers. Put a lid on the pan and let it simmer for ~20 minutes. If you want to add the heavy cream, do so 5 minutes before serving.

P.S. Check out this article if you have some spare time, “Case Against Cardio.” Post to comments your thoughts.

I know this is opening myself up to Blake or Doug or someone like-minded but I love sausage. I’m glad for a new recipe.

Uhh, I’m not touching that comment…McGhee was tuff. My legs and back are really sore, but a good sore…I should of sat in a tub of ice water when I got home.

I’m with James, McGhee was fun. I also enjoyed today’s article on Cardio. I envision a 5K in which at some point Grant jumps out dressed as a lion…

Taylor, I’m a little offended that you think I’d stoop to that level of humor. But you do love sausage. Bigger the better, amirite? Harharhar
