Everyone has been wondering the answer to our last “How well do you know your coaches?” post, and I am here to give you the answer. The coach that never uses chalk is Coach T-Pain aka Taylor Layman. His sweat has calcium carbonate properties that scientists have been trying to replicate for the past 26 years rendering an extra application of chalk superfluous.
With that said, great job today on the 2k row, Ktowners. We had a lot of personal records set, all while Sipi held on to his top spot on the board. We also had some people not set a new PR thanks to our 2k row cycle we did not too long ago. Who knew that somewhat training for a 2k row over the course of 12 weeks would artificially decrease your time to the point you cannot sustain while doing more typical CrossFit training? Well, we actually did.
