Squats, duh.

Squats...all day, everyday!

Warm-up: 10 Glute Bridges (each leg), 10 Banded Good Mornings, 10 Serratus Push-Ups, 10 Hand Release Push-Ups, 10 Lunges w/ Twist

Squat: 1 RM

MetCon – For Reps:
Tabata V-Ups
Bottom-to-Bottom Tabata
(Score is lowest round of each)

If you didn’t get to test out your 1 RM back squat today, no worries, it’s on the agenda for tomorrow as well. For those of you who did squat today, then there is other strength in the works. Coach CBo has also written all the rules for the point system on the whiteboard at Ktown.

Biggest question on summer of squats I have gotten thus far (other than obvious points system)…
When can I squat?

Here are a couple options:
1) After a lighter volume day at Ktown while the next class is warming up. If the next class is busy/ crazy please don’t do it. Also, you must ask a coach’s permission to squat after class. If they think it won’t work because of logistics for the next class then please respect his/her decision.
2) Come in on a Saturday morning at 9am or to the Olympic Lifting Class on Thursday nights at 7:30pm.
3) Use another facility. I know some of you have access to racks at another gym, your house, or work. This will obviously be based on the honor system. I don’t think we will have any cheaters, so I’m not going to worry about it, but please have a firm grasp on the point system so you perform the right percentage correctly.
