Warm-up: 3 rounds – 10 (each arm) kettlebell snatches (35/20lbs), Waiter’s walk circa building (35/20lbs), 30 jump ropes

So what is your post-MetCon pose? Is it hunched over sucking wind? Is it flat on your back trying to breathe or maybe it’s rolling around like a crazy person. I think I have been in every position at some point, probably all of themΒ  this weekend.

Since I am keeping this post short due to soreness, I will get right to the point and say the 5:30 class rocked today with 8 people. It was like being at Oktoberfest again with everyone cheering each other on and working hard in competition.

    Hey Guys, I had a great time as your coach/judge this weekend at Oktoberfest. You guys represented your gym very well. I would love to stop by and hit a WOD with you some time.

    I believe my favorite post-metcon pose is making sweat angels in front of the giant fan. It’s crazy how much faster I’m able to recover when there’s a constant stream of air flowing over me. I actually think the drying effect prevents me from drowning in my own sweat.

    Depending on the workout, I will either go straight to my H2O, cuss, or sit on my butt with knees bent for 10 minutes.

    I think everyone is familiar with my straight line for the fan and flopping around for 10 minutes. I want to not need thaΓΎ fan, but I just do.
