Been there . . . done that. It feels good when you can stand . . . knowing you are still alive and that there will be a tomorrow.

I experienced for the first time yesterday stage 1.5, the feeling of your lunch coming up and calling for the puke bucket. Luckily not needed! I posted a great number for Fight Gone Bad thanks to D O U to the G. Doug kept me fired up and motivated all the way through while counted my reps. Thanks buddy!…Hope to see some of you Ktowners on Saturday. Holla!

James, I don’t know if I can make it all the way until after work to see your and Blake’s FGB numbers… what’d yall get?

I’m thinking something around 400 for you? And probably something around 60 or 70 for Blake.

James scored 316 (one rep more than Forrest). It may be pure myth, but I heard James reached rep 316 on the push press of his second round. He then quietly set the bar down, exited the front door of CFK, and proceeded to yell, “Is there anyone else!?” I guess he didn’t know about Jordan though…

Blake scored 253. We scaled everything up to 135lbs for Blake.

Haha, did James do the metcon while standing on ret hot embers, as usual?

Blake doesn’t need to be scaled that high on so little rest, G.

  8. James September 17, 2009 at 9:12 am

Yes, on red hot embers with a kung fu master hitting me in the abs with a kendo stick. Its the only way to train! =o)

James KILLED it yesterday…I’m so pumped to do it this weekend (hopefully tomorrow!)
