What’s up with muscle-ups?

I like the shirt.

Warm-up: 15 OWLs (45/25lbs), 30 Double-Unders, 10 GHD Sit-Ups, 15 Reverse Hypers x2

Bench Press: 3×5

MetCon – Nasty Girls:
3 Rounds for Time
50 Air Squats
7 Muscle-Ups
10 Hang Power Cleans (135/95lbs)

I know we should have a guest post tonight, but we are a little behind on them. We do have one in the works for next Tuesday though, and it promises to be a good one. So now that Paleo is over do you guys feel lost on what to eat? If so, then you will only be lost for a short time. We are going to have a post in the next couple days on how to live Paleo without living super strict. (The suggestion was made by Travis and we thought it was a pretty good idea.)

In other news, Taylor (also affectionately known as Tay Tay by CBo) got his first muscle-up today. And then he decided to get 9 more. Congrats! What is up with muscle-ups? It seems that as soon as someone gets one; they get a lot! Also, congrats to Kathryn who used 65lbs in the MetCon today, her heaviest weight ever! Last but not least no one Rx’ed today, but Blake came awfully close with 4 muscle-ups per round.

    What I want to know, does Taylor affectionately call CBo Pooky Bear?… Great job Tay Tay, Kathryn, and Blake. That will definitely be one goal I will have before the end of the year, one muscle-up.

    @James, I believe it’s pooky beEr, not pooky beAr…we know where his mind lies. I know you’ll get the MU soon. Practice, practice, practice.
    @Blake, thank you for the get well wishes. I’m SOOO ready to be able to do everything once again, but I believe it’s gonna be a few more weeks/months. It sucked doing three rounds of 25 ring dips / 10 DL’s @ 275lbs instead of prescribed. The air squats sucked all the same though.

    Caleb, James can’t practice the muscle-up unless you want him to do it one-armed which would be AWESOME!
